Frederick Leroy Gamble - Thank you from the family of Frederick Leroy Gamble
(1932-2010).
It’s during a time like this, we learn how much our family and friends
really mean to us and how many lives our Dad has had an impact on. There are
no words to adequately express the appreciation we feel for the overwhelming
support, kindness and love, we have been blessed to receive. To all of you
who took the time to make a phone call, a home visit with Dad and Mum,
dropped off baked goods, sent a card, attend Dad’s reception or simply gave
us a hug and a word of comfort and condolence, we thank you all.
To the amazing kind and caring staff of the VON, and Dr. Smith, who provided
such compassion, caring and support to our family and made it possible for
Dad’s wish to remain at home a reality – you will not be forgotten. To Dr.
Rowe and the staff of the W.C.C. Health Centre for your assistance and
support – Dad was so very appreciative.
Our sincere thanks to Rev. Dan Gunn for officiating at the memorial and the
Londonderry Community Council members, who so efficiently organized the
reception.
Our provider, our protector, our role model, - who through his life gave so
much to so many – in his words, in his laughter, in his music and in his
wisdom – whose memory continues to provide us with the courage to continue
on – We will miss him and love him forever and always – Loving husband to
Mum, - and to us our DAD.
