The 6 children of Eva-Rose (Rector) and Jack Giddens, wanted to announce the 60th wedding anniversary on August 4, 2014.  Our parents were married on August 4, 1954, at the bride's parents home in Bass River, NS. The couple have resided at Brule Point, NS, since retirement, previously living in Folly Lake, Londonderry, Wawa and St. Catharines, ON. Along with their 6 children, Gwen (Bob Davis), Carl (Annette), Barb (the late George Reid), Larry (Karen), Betty (Wade Jennings), and Colleen (Larcey), they have also accumulated 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Being very humble people, they did not wish to have a celebration but they always enjoy company."
